Description

The BD Diesel 1024311 Exhaust Brake provides up to 150 retarding horsepower throughout the engine's RPM range. It features BD's exclusive Variable Orifice Technology with a solid, offset butterfly, spring-loaded cylinder, and pressure regulation. The exhaust brake incorporates rugged, cast-iron housings with BD's exclusive alumibronze bushing, piston ring-seals, and a stainless steel butterfly shaft to withstand harsh, high-heat exhaust conditions. Most kits for newer pickup trucks include an air compressor.
