The BD Diesel Positive Air Shutdown (PAS) is an emergency engine shutdown system. It operates by placing an inline butterfly valve in the air intake line. When activated by its heavy-duty electrical solenoid, the engine will shut down within seconds by ceasing the fuel ignition due to lack of air. This system is crucial in industries like mining, oil refinery, forestry, mobile welding, septic removal, and refueling, where emergency engine shutdown is often required.

The PAS features:
* Automatic over-speed electronics and CAC pipes included for some vehicles.
* A butterfly valve design that reduces parts and overall size compared to competitors.
* Aluminum and stainless components with weatherproof electrical connectors to prevent corrosion.
* Easy, weld-free installation using innovative bead boot locks.

It is available with two switching mechanisms:
