The BD Diesel Xtrude Double Stacked Transmission Cooler is designed to significantly cool hot transmission oil, crucial for vehicles under heavy loads or performance applications. It features double-stacked cores that deliver over 40,000 BTU/HR of cooling, resulting in over a 350% temperature drop compared to factory systems and 36% better temperature drop than BD's standard single-core kit. The design includes 200 micro extruded passages for a large heat transfer surface area and turbulent oil flow for more complete cooling. It has large 5/8-inch ports to prevent restriction and furnace brazed rails tested to 300psi. An 80-watt, 10-inch, 800 CFM electric fan with an IP54 motor and 65% duty cycle is thermostatically controlled for automatic oil temperature management. This product is intended to be used in conjunction with factory transmission coolers and not as a stand-alone unit.
