BD3.0L Whipple Supercharger Kit

The BoostDistrict BD3.0L Whipple Supercharger Kit is engineered as the largest available supercharger for the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 GT and GXP models. This inverted 3-liter kit utilizes Whipple's advanced Gen 6 twin-screw supercharger, featuring 6th generation rotors that achieve an impressive 99% volumetric efficiency for enhanced power and throttle response. The system boasts a massive 112mm front-feed intake, designed to maximize airflow into the supercharger and contribute to increased horsepower and torque across the entire powerband. Whipple's innovative coupling system enhances supercharger stability and durability, while updated port designs optimize airflow for improved performance and boost response, especially at higher RPMs. A key feature is the patented dual intercooler system, which integrates an oversized air-to-water intercooler with dual air and water pass technology. This configuration dramatically increases cooling capacity, reducing heat soak and maintaining consistent power output during high-performance driving and extended runs. This comprehensive kit includes the BD Gen6 3.0 Whipple head unit, a proprietary cooling intercooler brick with billet end tanks, a 3.4" supercharger pulley (approx. 10-11psi), belt, a heavy-duty dedicated belt drive system with a tensioner, a plug-and-play wiring kit, fuel injectors (with upgrade options), quick-connect fuel rails, a fuel crossover line, OEM GM 3Bar MAP and IAT sensors, necessary installation gaskets, a heat exchanger with pump and wiring, a fastener kit, and spark plugs. A 120mm throttle body is also available as an upgrade. The kit is configurable for power outputs ranging from 700HP to over 1300HP with appropriate supporting modifications. To complete the installation, a cold air intake, 3/4" coolant hose for heat exchanger lines, and a compatible fuel pump are required.
