BDS 6-Inch Lift System w/ FOX 2.0 Shocks

The BDS Suspension 6-inch lift system is engineered to significantly enhance the performance and capability of 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma 4WD trucks. This comprehensive kit provides a 6-inch lift up front and a 4-inch lift in the rear, allowing for the fitment of up to 35-inch tires. The system prioritizes high-clearance design principles, incorporating 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and robust skid plates for superior ground clearance and underbody protection. Up front, the lift is achieved through top-mounted strut spacers. Steering geometry is meticulously corrected for the increased ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that utilize factory tie rod ends, ensuring compatibility with the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. Additional components like sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, and control arm cams contribute to a complete front suspension overhaul. In the rear, the kit features heavy-duty cast steel lift blocks and longer U-bolts. To further enhance damping performance, the rear is outfitted with a choice of specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks. Installation is rated as moderate, with an estimated time of 6-8 hours, and requires minor welding, frame bracket modification, and a strut compressor. Important fitment notes include: Stock wheels cannot be reinstalled, and 17-inch wheels are incompatible. While the system is designed for 4WD models, it can also be used on 2WD PreRunner models, but it is not compatible with standard 2WD models. For 2014-15 models, the net lift height may vary slightly but the overall stance will be consistent with 2005-13 models.
