Beehive Spring Kit w/ Titanium Retainers

The GSC Power-Division Beehive Valve Spring Kit (5040) is a performance valvetrain upgrade for Mitsubishi 4G63 engines found in various Evo, Eclipse, Talon, Laser, and Galant models. This kit features 16 beehive valve springs and 16 titanium retainers, designed to allow for the use of smaller, lighter retainers, enabling higher RPM operation and improved valve control. Constructed with ovate wire and advanced material heat treatment, these GSC springs offer superior load loss capabilities and excellent spring load retention while maintaining fatigue resistance. The springs provide a seat pressure of 84 lbs (intake) and 90 lbs (exhaust) at their respective install heights, with open pressures of 227 lbs (intake) and 233 lbs (exhaust) at specific lifts. This kit supports a maximum valve lift of 0.506 inches, a maximum RPM of 8,500, and can handle up to 30 psi of boost.
