Beehive Valve Spring Kit with Titanium Retainers

The GSC Power-Division GSC5041 is a high-performance beehive valve spring kit engineered for Mitsubishi 4G63 engines found in Evolution, Eclipse, Talon, Laser, and Galant VR4 models from 1990-2006. This kit features 16 beehive valve springs constructed from ovate wire, utilizing advanced material heat treatment for superior load retention and fatigue life. It also includes 16 Grade 5 titanium retainers, which allow for a smaller, lighter design compared to traditional retainers. This combination is crucial for achieving higher RPMs and enhanced valve control, preventing issues like valve float and thrown rocker arms. Key specifications include an intake seat pressure of 100 lbs at 1.539" install height and exhaust seat pressure of 107 lbs at 1.519". At 11.70mm of valve lift, the springs provide 250 lbs of open pressure (intake) and 256 lbs (exhaust). The system is designed to accommodate camshafts with up to 12.1mm of lift, supporting a maximum valve lift of 0.476" and capable of handling up to 10,500 RPM and 44 psi of boost.
