Overview

The COMP Cams 26915-12 is a set of 12 Beehive valve springs designed for hydraulic roller cams. These springs offer increased valve train stability and reduced weight, leading to better valve control and improved high RPM horsepower and durability.

The unique Beehive shape efficiently handles valve train stress and dissipates heat for longer life. The oval/multi-arc wire shape further enhances stress handling and heat dissipation, allowing the valve train to manage higher RPMs and more aggressive cam profiles. These springs have a maximum lift of .600" and are originally designed for LS engine applications but can work in many others.

The COMP Cams 26915-12 Beehive Valve Springs are engineered to enhance valve train performance for hydraulic roller camshafts. This set of 12 springs is designed to provide increased stability and a lighter valve train by utilizing less spring pressure for superior valve control. The unique Beehive shape is key to their efficiency, handling valve train stress more effectively to eliminate damaging harmonics. This design not only boosts high-RPM horsepower and durability but also allows for better heat dissipation through an oval/multi-arc wire shape, extending the lifespan of the component. With a maximum lift capability of .600", these valve springs were originally developed for LS engine applications but are noted to be compatible with a wide range of other engines. They feature a .600" maximum lift and are constructed from steel. The specifications include an outer diameter of 1.290 inches, a coil bind height of 1.140 inches, and seat pressure of 105 lbs at 1.800 inches, with open pressure at 293 lbs at 1.200 inches. The spring rate is 313 lbs/in, and a damper spring is not included.
