Beehive Valve Spring Set

The COMP Cams 26915-16 Beehive Valve Springs are engineered to provide enhanced valve train stability and a lighter overall assembly, which contributes to improved engine performance and durability. With a .600-inch maximum lift capability, these springs are specifically designed for use with hydraulic roller camshafts. The unique Beehive shape of these springs is a key feature, allowing them to manage valve train stress more effectively. This design helps to eliminate harmful harmonics, leading to increased high RPM horsepower and extended longevity. The oval/multi-arc wire shape further optimizes stress handling by placing the maximum wire area at the point of highest stress, while also allowing for better heat dissipation. These valve springs boast a seat pressure of 105 lbs. at 1.800 inches and an open pressure of 293 lbs. at 1.200 inches. They feature an outer diameter of 1.055 inches at the top and 1.290 inches at the bottom, with an inner diameter of 0.650 inches at the top and 0.885 inches at the bottom. Originally developed for GM LS1 engine applications, these springs are also noted to work in 5.7L Hemi engines and a variety of other applications.
