BEHIND THE AXLE SHOCK BRACKET

The Barnes 4WD Behind The Axle Shock Bracket is a versatile fabrication component designed to optimize shock placement and articulation. This bracket allows the shock bolt to be oriented perpendicular to the axle tube, preventing binding during suspension movement and enabling the use of longer shocks. It can be mounted either in front of or behind the axle tube and is welded above the axle centerline to preserve ground clearance.

Constructed from 1/4-inch steel, these brackets are robust enough for coilovers or air shocks. They feature an adjustable mounting width and a 1/2-inch bolt hole, and are sold in pairs. The design also maximizes ground clearance when the shocks are not mounted vertically.
