The Classic Instruments Bel Era III Gauge Package is a direct-fit instrument cluster designed to maintain the nostalgic, factory look of 1955-1956 Chevy Tri-Five vehicles while incorporating all-electric modern technology. The dual-layer, injected-molded housing includes a speedometer (now reading 120 mph, up from the original 110 mph), fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge (0-50-100 psi, replacing the idiot light), water temperature gauge (with predetermined readouts, replacing the idiot light), and a volt gauge (8-13-18 V). New features include a fuel sender selector switch for various aftermarket and OEM fuel senders, a built-in ECM signal switch with an onboard filter for direct speed signal connections without an additional control box, LED lighting with a built-in dimmer, turn signals, high beam indicator, and additional warning indicators. A glass lens and a single-connector wiring harness are included for quick installation. The system is available in four colors: black, white, gray, and tan. The dial faceplate recreates the OEM grain texture. The shift detent can be upgraded for modern overdrive transmissions like 4L80E, 700-R4, and 4L60E. It utilizes CI’s ZST (Zeus Speedometer Technology) which accepts various speed signals (pulse generator, VSS, ECM, or GPS) and allows for easy speedometer calibration by driving at 30 mph and pushing a button.
