Description

The Sierra Marine 18-2622 is a bell housing shift shaft seal and bushing kit. It replaces Mercruiser part 23-805041A2 and updates older Mercruiser 1, R, MR, and Alpha-I models to a new shift shaft seal. This kit is standard on early Mercruiser Alpha-I and some Generation-II units up to serial number OF094774.

Water ingress can lead to damage to the gimbal bearing and u-joints.
