Bellhousing Kit GM Crate 5.5in Ultra 3-Disc

Engineered for demanding short track racers, these kits combine a lightweight magnesium bellhousing with a low-inertia 6-leg 5.5 Ultra clutch. The bellhousing offers maximum ground clearance (4.5” from crankshaft centerline to bottom) and an easy-access side-bolt starter mounting system, eliminating the need to remove the transmission for starter service. The 5.5 ULTRA clutch and small diameter 99-tooth cover-mount ring gear ensure ultra-low inertia and reliability. Kit includes: Magnesium Bellhousing (7.6 lbs, accepts transmissions with Chevy 4-bolt pattern and 4.68” register diameter, integral mounting ears for use as rear engine mount); 5.5 ULTRA metallic clutch-flywheel assembly (2-disc or 3-disc options, billet steel 99-tooth (8.42”) ring gear, button flywheel, 26-spline clutch disc pack, aircraft-grade clutch bolts, high-strength ARP flywheel bolts); 2300-Series Hydraulic Release Bearing (38mm contact diameter, 3-bolt bellhousing mounted); 40000-Series 3.0 HP high-torque gear reduction mini starter (side-bolt mounting).
