Over time, the factory-installed "donut" gaskets in the up-pipes can fail due to expansion, contraction, and extreme heat, leading to exhaust leaks and a noticeable loss of engine power. The bellowed design of the up-pipes themselves allows for natural expansion and contraction, further ensuring a leak-free seal without relying on traditional gaskets. This upgrade helps maintain optimal turbo efficiency and can extend the lifespan of the engine's manifolds and up-pipes.
