Description

The Dayco 89325 is an automatic belt tensioner designed to maintain constant pressure on a serpentine belt. This self-adjusting tensioner reduces the risk of accessory bearing failure caused by excessive tension and prevents belt noise or slippage from low tension.

The tensioner features a flat spring design for consistent operation, a PTFE string within the spring to resist abrasion and dampen noise, and a heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case and arm for strength and durability. It also includes thermoplastic rubber seals to keep contaminants out and zinc-coated mounting bolts to resist rust.
