The Cloyes 9-5162 is a timing belt tensioner designed to absorb changes in timing belt tension. It provides constant tension on the timing belt during crankshaft revolution, which reduces noise and prevents belt flapping. This ensures proper transmission efficiency throughout the belt's service life. The tensioner is CAD designed and manufactured using premium materials, and is extensively tested for function, fitment, and durability.
