The CTS Turbo BFI MK5/MK6 Stage 2 Trans Mount offers a significant upgrade over the stock transmission mount for MK5/6 6-speed manual and DSG vehicles. This collapse not only affects driveability and wastes horsepower but also compromises overall longevity. This Stage 2 mount utilizes 85a durometer bushings, making it ideal for hardcore enthusiasts and track-focused vehicles where performance is prioritized over minimizing cabin vibrations. The proprietary bushing and bracket design maximizes bushing area to control motor movement effectively while striving for the best possible ride characteristics achievable with a urethane bushing mount. It is recommended for high horsepower Mk5/Mk6 4-cylinder and 5-cylinder vehicles. Compared to Stage 1 mounts (65a durometer), which are recommended for spirited enthusiasts seeking better motor control without excessive vibration, the Stage 2 offers a more performance-oriented solution.
