BFI Stage 2 Torque Arm Insert

The CTS Turbo BFI Stage 2 Torque Arm Insert is engineered to enhance drivetrain performance by minimizing engine and gearbox flex under hard acceleration. The factory pendulum mount, often called the "dogbone," uses soft rubber bushings that can flex excessively, contributing to a vague engine feel and wheel hop. This insert fills the voids in the stock rubber bushing, transforming it into a solid mount that improves the driving experience. With the installation of this torque arm insert, drivers will notice a more responsive throttle and crisper, more defined gear shifts, particularly in manual transmission vehicles. The insert is constructed from the highest quality 98a durometer polyurethane, making it one of the stiffest mounts available on the market. Each insert is pressure injection molded to ensure uniform hardness throughout for durability under demanding driving conditions. The kit includes all necessary hardware for replacement: one laser-cut washer, one ring washer, and a new bolt. This insert is designed to fit all 09+ Mk5 platform vehicles, including the GTI/GLI, Rabbit, Jetta 2.5, Jetta TDI, Tiguan, and Passat, as well as the Audi TT (mkII) and A3.
