The Mastervolt BI 702-S is a battery isolator designed to allow simultaneous charging of two batteries from a single alternator and/or battery charger without connecting the batteries together. It utilizes conventional diode technology and is compact and solid-state, preventing wear. The isolator has a diode voltage drop of approximately 0.6V.
