The Mickey Thompson ET Drag tire is a proven winner on the drag strip, engineered with real-world research and development to give racers an edge. This specific tire features a bias-ply construction, a treadless design for optimal grip, and the X8 compound, which is a cooler-running version of the L8 compound, offering good performance for general use. It is a non-directional tread design and has a speed rating of Q, corresponding to a maximum speed of 99 mph. The tire requires an inner tube and is explicitly marked as "Not For Highway Use," meaning it is not DOT compliant for street or highway driving. Key specifications include an overall diameter of 24.5 inches, an overall section width of 10.90 inches, and a tread width of 9 inches. It is designed to fit rims between 8 and 9.5 inches wide. For proper bias-ply drag tire operation, all tires must be matched to be within a 1/2 inch roll out. It's important to note that this tire is intended solely for drag racing and should never be used on a dynamometer (dyno).
