The CE Auto 2002-2006 Chevrolet/GMC Duramax Big 3 Upgrade Kit is engineered to supplement your existing battery cable setup and is specifically designed to complement the installation of a high-output alternator in your Duramax-powered truck. This kit provides additional cables beyond those included in standard battery cable kits, ensuring a robust electrical connection. The kit includes essential components for a complete Big 3 upgrade: side post battery terminal adapters for easy connections, loomed cables running from the battery to the fuse holder and from the fuse holder to the alternator, a battery ground upgrade cable, and an alternator ground upgrade cable. It also features a Blue Seas waterproof MEGA/AMG fuse holder with a fuse, a red alternator boot, and all necessary installation hardware. This Big 3 upgrade is ideal for trucks equipped with high-output alternators. For those adding a Mechman 250A alternator, the 1/0 AWG kit is recommended, while the 2/0 AWG kit is suitable for Mechman 320A and 400A alternators. It is advised to select a fuse size that closely matches the output rating of your alternator, for instance, a 250A fuse for a 250A alternator. The kit is designed to fit 2002-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500 and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500 models equipped with the 6.6L Duramax engine, including Classic body styles for 2007.
