Big Block Headers, 2-Inch

The TTI TTI440-200C headers are engineered for big block Mopar engines, featuring 2-inch primary tubes and 3.5-inch collectors. Constructed from durable 16-gauge mild steel tubing with 3/8" thick flanges, these headers are built to withstand demanding conditions and support significant power output, recommended for engines producing 500-750 horsepower. These headers are designed for a precise fit on 1967-1976 A-body, 1962-1974 B-body, and 1970-1974 E-body Mopar platforms, assuming factory engine placement. It is crucial to verify your engine's location within the chassis before installation, as any deviation may affect fitment. Due to the vast array of manufacturing designs, aftermarket parts, and engine configurations, TTi cannot guarantee fitment with all combinations. Slight modifications or repositioning may be necessary to accommodate specific setups. Careful consideration must be given to various components during installation. For 383-400 B-engines, specific "raised-port" cylinder heads like Indy-440-1, Indy-440SR, Edelbrock Victor, Procomp, or Stage-6 are required. If using Edelbrock Victor, Procomp, or Stage-6 heads with a 383-400 B-engine, modifications to the passenger-side header and potentially a motor plate for 67-76 A-body applications with torsion bar suspension may be necessary. For 440-RB engines, OEM or equivalent "stock-port" cylinder heads are recommended. Clearance for cylinder head studs on the driver's side may be an issue below cylinders #3, #5, and #7, with ARP bolts suggested for these areas. Further fitment notes include: Power steering is not compatible with A-body applications using torsion bars but is compatible with B and E-bodies. Manual steering on 67-76 A-bodies and 62-65 B-bodies may require modification or dimpling of header tubes to clear longer Pitman & Idler arms; this modification voids the warranty. UniSteer Performance rack and pinion systems are not compatible. Air conditioning is compatible. Certain starter, oil pan, bell housing (Lakewood scatter shield requires a 1/4" deep notch), and valve cover combinations are detailed for fitment. For 67-76 A-body applications with standard transmissions, a modified Z-bar (part # ZB307) is required. Column shift applications are not directly compatible and will require DIY modification to the shift linkage.
