Big Block Mopar RB 440-Single Supercharger PLUS KIT

The TorqStorm Big Block Mopar RB 440-Single Supercharger PLUS KIT is a comprehensive supercharger system designed to mount on the passenger side of 383/400 Big Block Mopar RB engines. This kit provides the core components for forced induction, including the TorqStorm® supercharger, couplers, clamps, blow-off valve and tube, air filter, and carburetor hat. It also includes all necessary brackets, pulleys, and hardware for a complete supercharger installation on your engine. The "PLUS" version of this kit goes further by integrating essential accessories. It comes equipped with a Sanden SD-7 AC compressor, a Type 2 Power Steering Pump, and a Powermaster 165 amp alternator, streamlining the installation and enhancing functionality. However, please note that the water pump and balancer are not included and will need to be sourced separately. To achieve full operational status and maximize performance, additional components are required to complete the installation in your vehicle. These include a blow-through carburetor or a suitable throttle body injection system, an electronic fuel pump capable of maintaining proper fuel pressure, a fuel pressure regulator with a 1:1 boost reference, and an ignition system designed to retard timing under boost, such as the MSD BTM 6462. The use of premium fuel is also mandatory when adding boost to your engine. For non-carbureted applications, intercooling is strongly suggested, and a bung is provided for water-methanol injection. This supercharger system is legal for sale and use only on Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles and Racing Use Only Vehicles. It is explicitly stated that this product is not for use with a motor vehicle pollution control device or system and is not legal for sale, installation, or use on a licensed vehicle in California, as it does not meet CARB compliance. It is intended solely for racing vehicles that will never be used on a public highway.
