Big Block SUV/Pickup Exhaust Header

The SPELAB Exhaust Header (Model EH28038) is constructed from durable stainless steel with a mirror polish finish, designed to upgrade the exhaust system of 1968-1972 Chevy and GMC Big Block SUVs and Pickups. This performance header aims to increase horsepower and provide an improved exhaust note. The fitment for this exhaust header is specified for Chevy GMC SUV Pickup models equipped with 396, 402, 427, or 454 cubic inch Big Block engines. However, specific exclusions apply: it does not fit 1970 Chevelle 396, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, 1968/1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Base Hardtop 2-Door 6.6L, 1968 Chevy Chevelle, or 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 454. Additionally, it is not compatible with the 1970 Chevrolet El Camino Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door 6.5L 396Cu. In. V8 GAS. Compared to exhaust manifolds, which are made of thicker iron and create back pressure that lowers performance, this exhaust header is constructed from lighter, thinner steel with individual tubes for each cylinder.
