The Dobinsons SD59-824 is a big bore steering damper engineered to enhance steering response and reduce driver fatigue, making it ideal for both on-road and off-road conditions. Constructed with robust materials, this steering damper features a 50mm (2.0-inch) body for improved heat dissipation and cooler operation. It utilizes a 50/50 valving setup for consistent damping performance. The internal components include a cellular foam cell insert and Teflon piston rings, contributing to high shear stability and preventing viscosity drop. The 18mm induction hardened rod adds significant strength and durability. This steering damper is compatible with a range of Toyota Land Cruiser models, including the 60, 70, 71, 73, 74, 75, and 80 series, specifically from the 1980 to 1997 model years. It also fits the 80 Series (05/1990 to 1998) and the 105 Series (08/1991 to 11/2007) Land Cruisers, often supporting 0-7 inches of lift.
