Big Bore Throttle Body

The Shark Racing 2014-2016 Forte Big Bore Throttle Body is a remanufactured OEM unit designed for the 1.6 non-turbo engine. It features a modified bore size, increased from the factory 56 mm to 60 mm. This upgrade was performed by a specialty tuner with extensive testing on race cars in Korea.

The unit ships without input and output coolant line ports, which are primarily for preventing throttle body freezing in extreme cold climates. Most vehicles do not require these ports, and they can be bypassed by connecting the hoses together. Installation requires disconnecting the battery, and an ECU recalibration may be necessary to avoid engine codes.
