This sophisticated kit builds upon the benefits of the Procomp system, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-free component. Aluminum pistons are incorporated to provide enhanced heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operational integrity. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift as needed, improving caliper self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting performance through more consistent pad application. The kit comes standard with NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, while significantly reducing brake dust (by 50% or more), noise, and rotor wear. These pads are designed to operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled rotors recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for more frequent track use.
