This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors that enhance caliper self-centering. The calipers themselves are meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum in a one-piece forged construction, ensuring exceptional lightness, unparalleled strength, and superior resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons are employed to provide better heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operational performance. The rotors feature a two-piece floating design, allowing the outer section to shift slightly for improved self-centering within the caliper. This design minimizes brake drag and maximizes performance through more even pad application. For customization, Ksport offers a wide array of caliper color options, including standard painted finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color choices. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions. Complementing the system are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Buyers can choose between Slotted or Cross Drilled rotors, with slotted recommended for track use and cross-drilled for daily drivers due to better cooling.
