The calipers are meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, minimal weight, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons are employed to enhance heat resistance and guarantee unwavering operation under demanding conditions. The Supercomp kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer rotor section can shift slightly for improved self-centering within the caliper. This design not only reduces brake drag but also optimizes braking performance through more consistent pad application. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street driving and occasional track use, while also reducing brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. Complementing the system are D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customers have the option to choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that will experience more track time. Caliper color options include standard finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish finishes available in Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors, offering extensive customization possibilities.
