This kit enhances the performance of their Procomp line by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are forged from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized to provide superior heat resistance and consistent operation. The kit features a two-piece floating rotor design, allowing the outer section to shift slightly for better self-centering, which reduces brake drag and improves overall braking performance. Ksport offers custom caliper color options, including standard painted finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color options. The included SC5 Street Pads are designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust (by 50% or more), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, and slotted recommended for track use.
