Overview

This kit integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The calipers are machined from aircraft quality billet and feature an opposed piston design for improved pad wear and rigidity. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight and mitigates thermal stress.

The kit features an extreme lightweight, 8-piston caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, with a differential bore configuration and integrated protection grooves. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to enhanced pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces both rotating and unsprung weight but also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or affecting the braking surface. Ksport recommends slotted rotors for vehicles that experience more track use than daily driving, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers seeking cooler rotor temperatures. This particular kit, part number BKIN050-831SO, features 330mm (13-inch) slotted rotors and red calipers for the front application. It is specifically designed to fit the 2003-2008 Infiniti FX35 with the 3.5L V6 engine.
