This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit's capabilities with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-free component. The calipers incorporate aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain consistent operation under demanding conditions. The standard floating two-piece rotor design allows for slight movement, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and enhancing overall braking performance through more even pad application. This kit comes with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal performance for street driving and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, and slotted for more frequent track use. Calipers are available in standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with options for premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color choices. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. The Supercomp kit fits 1998-2005 Lexus GS300, GS400, and GS430 models.
