Big Brake Kit

This kit builds upon the foundation of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston sizes and standard full-floating rotors. The full-floating rotor design enhances performance by allowing for slight adjustments, leading to better self-centering within the caliper, reduced brake drag, and more consistent application. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece calipers offer unparalleled strength, lightweight properties, and resistance to corrosion. They also feature aluminum pistons, which provide enhanced heat resistance and reliable operation under demanding conditions. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are better suited for track-oriented applications. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for both street use and occasional track days. These pads are formulated to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. Furthermore, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines eliminate expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines.
