This sophisticated, bolt-on system enhances braking performance by utilizing larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to OEM components. It incorporates increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors, which contribute to better self-centering within the caliper and reduced brake drag for improved performance and more even application. Construction highlights include calipers made from a one-piece, forged billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, aiding self-centering and optimizing braking force. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This big brake kit is built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. It is specifically designed for the 2006-2013 Lexus IS350 Base models.
