This sophisticated, yet straightforward, bolt-on system offers a significant improvement over stock components. It features larger calipers and rotors, an increased number of pistons within the calipers, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering capabilities within the caliper for reduced drag and more even pad application. The calipers themselves are precision-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, lightness, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for their superior heat resistance, maintaining performance under demanding conditions. The Supercomp system comes standard with floating two-piece rotors. For rotor face customization, you can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, or slotted rotors, ideal for more frequent track use. Optimal operating temperatures for these pads range from 194°F to 1022°F. Furthermore, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, reducing line expansion under pressure for a firmer pedal feel and quicker response. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Custom caliper color options are available, including standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes such as Silver, Gold, and Titanium, with over 20,000 custom color finishes also being an option.
