Big Brake Kit

This kit builds upon the benefits of the Procomp line, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. The calipers are a standout feature, being a one-piece forged construction from aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers also house aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance for consistent braking performance. The Supercomp systems come standard with floating two-piece rotors. This design allows the outer ring to shift slightly for better self-centering within the caliper, which reduces brake drag and enhances overall performance through more even pad application. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material. These pads offer optimal braking performance for both street and occasional track conditions, significantly reducing brake dust (by 50% or more), noise, and rotor wear. They perform best within an operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Additionally, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. This specific kit is compatible with 2013-2015 Lexus GS450h Base models.
