It features lightweight, one-piece forged calipers constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, eliminating weak spots and ensuring long-term durability. The opposed-piston design promotes consistent brake pad wear and grip, while aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals are built to withstand racetrack temperatures. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The kit includes two-piece rotors, which offer lightweight construction, fade-free performance, and effective grip. The lightweight center sections, crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for quicker response and easier stopping. The two-piece design allows the rotor sections to expand and contract independently, greatly reducing the chance of warping due to heat. Included with the kit are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate hose expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Standard SC5 Street Pads are provided, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions, though these are not recommended for street use. Customization options are available, including a choice of caliper colors such as Ksport Orange, Race Red, Jet Black, and Bold Blue, with premium high-polish options like Silver, Gold, and Titanium available at an additional cost. The kit also includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment.
