The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as an extreme brake upgrade, providing the highest level of stopping power without requiring vehicle modifications for installation. This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit's benefits with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering and reduced brake drag. The calipers are constructed from a one-piece billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management. The floating rotor's outer section allows for slight shifting, aiding self-centering, minimizing brake drag, and boosting performance. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic), offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, improving pedal response and feel by eliminating expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track time. Ksport Big Brake Kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Fitment is confirmed for various Mercedes-Benz CL-Class models from 2000-2006, including CL500, CL55 AMG, and CL600 trims.
