Big Brake Kit

Each caliper is constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant foundation. This 1-piece caliper construction, combined with aluminum pistons, ensures better heat management and smoother operation under demanding conditions. This kit enhances braking performance with its opposed-piston caliper design, which significantly improves pad grip and minimizes uneven pad wear. The 2-piece rotor design, featuring an aluminum center, contributes to lower rotational mass, quicker braking response, and ultimately shorter stopping distances. This design also minimizes rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure these larger-than-OEM calipers can be directly bolted onto existing mounting points without modifications. Specific features of the SuperComp Big Brake Kit include 4-piston calipers, slotted and vented 330mm (13-inch) rotors, and street-performance brake pads. The minimum wheel diameter required is 432mm (17 inches). All caliper seals are heavy-duty for sustained high-temperature racetrack use, and the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, leading to faster pedal response. This kit is designed as a bolt-on replacement for the 2003-2007 Mitsubishi Evolution models, requiring no modifications for installation.
