Big Brake Kit

This kit builds upon the Procomp series with larger calipers, rotors, and pads, alongside an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering. Constructed with a focus on performance and durability, the calipers are forged from a single piece of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. They also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat management. Standard on all Supercomp systems are floating two-piece rotors, which allow for slight adjustments for better self-centering, reducing brake drag and enhancing performance. Included in the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions. These pads are designed to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, while also minimizing noise and rotor wear. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that see more track time. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
