This kit utilizes larger calipers, rotors, and pads compared to their Procomp series, along with an increased piston count. Standard full-floating rotors are incorporated for superior self-centering within the caliper, which helps reduce brake drag and enhance overall performance through more even pad application. The calipers themselves are crafted from a one-piece, forged billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. This construction method provides uniform thickness and structural integrity across the entire caliper. This kit includes SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC Ceramic pads offering optimal braking performance for both street and occasional track use. They significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more) and noise compared to race pads, while also minimizing rotor wear. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, the kit comes with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to standard rubber lines. Customers can choose between Slotted or Cross Drilled rotors. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they dissipate heat more effectively, while Slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that will see more track time.
