Overview

This kit integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. It features a lightweight, one-piece caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, with aluminum pistons and high-temperature seals. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and rigidity over OEM systems. The kit includes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure and utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. Ksport offers a unique slot design on the rotor to reduce braking noise and expel debris faster.

The advanced design actively cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during operation. The extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 5 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration, machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Complementing the calipers are stainless-steel braided brake lines that resist expansion under pressure, ensuring a firm pedal feel. This kit incorporates a 2-piece disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to better overall vehicle dynamics. Ksport utilizes a unique slot design on the rotor, which not only minimizes braking noise but also rapidly expels gas and pad debris, maintaining optimal contact. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. For daily drivers, cross-drilled rotors offer cooler operation, while slotted rotors are recommended for more aggressive track use.
