Big Brake Kit

This advanced, bolt-on system builds upon the strengths of our Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. Standard full-floating rotors are included to ensure superior self-centering within the caliper, enhancing overall performance. The calipers themselves are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant design. These calipers feature one-piece construction, eliminating the weaknesses associated with cast or welded components and ensuring perfectly even thickness and strength across the entire caliper block. For heat resistance and reliable operation, the calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons. The Supercomp systems feature floating two-piece rotor designs, where the outer rotor section can shift slightly for better self-centering, reducing brake drag and improving braking consistency. This kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance under street conditions and occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing hose expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are advised for more track-focused vehicles. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. This kit is specifically designed to fit the 1993-1996 Mazda RX-7 Base models.
