This advanced, bolt-on system builds upon the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant construction. These calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation under demanding conditions. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, providing optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with a significant reduction in dust and noise compared to race pads. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, improving pedal response and feel by eliminating expansion under pressure. Ksport offers customization options for rotors, allowing you to choose between slotted or cross-drilled designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are better suited for track-focused vehicles. Calipers are available in standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium high-polish finishes and custom color options also available.
