Big Brake Kit

This advanced system builds upon the features of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, as well as an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. They also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and ensure uncompromised operation under demanding conditions. This kit includes two-piece floating rotors, a standard on all Supercomp systems, which allow for slight movement to improve self-centering, reduce brake drag, and boost overall performance through more even pad application. You have the option to choose between cross-drilled or slotted rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their cooler operating temperatures, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to eliminate line expansion under pressure, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. This specific kit is designed for the Nissan Maxima A33 models from 2000-2003. It includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware.
