This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, a higher piston count for enhanced braking force, and standard full-floating rotors that improve self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are constructed from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. They also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance for consistent performance. Key features include lightweight forged one-piece calipers machined from solid billet aircraft-grade aluminum for maximum strength and even thickness. CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets are included to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to your OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. The floating two-piece rotor design allows for slight shifts, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more even application. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted are preferred for track use. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure. This kit includes SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Customization options for caliper colors include standard painted finishes (Orange, Red, Black, Yellow) and premium high-polish finishes (Silver, Gold, Titanium), with over 20,000 custom color finishes available. Please note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order and typically require 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. The product is compatible with Aston Martin DB9 models from 2004-2016.
