Standard full-floating rotors enhance self-centering within the caliper, reducing drag and improving braking efficiency. Each caliper is crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, resulting in a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. These calipers feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to traditional materials, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. For optimal brake pad engagement and rigidity, the opposed piston caliper design is employed. The Supercomp kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer section of the rotor can shift slightly, accommodating thermal stresses from extreme heat and preventing warping. Ksport offers rotors in either slotted or cross-drilled options; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to their superior cooling, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Standard with every kit are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The included NAOC Ceramic pads provide optimal street and occasional track performance, reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Ksport big brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
