This sophisticated kit enhances the already impressive performance of the Procomp line with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for optimal self-centering within the caliper. The calipers themselves are forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons are utilized for superior heat resistance and unwavering performance. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift slightly, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and ensuring more even pad application for enhanced performance. Ksport offers extensive customization options for caliper colors, from standard shades like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow to premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color choices. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking in street and occasional track conditions, while reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Further enhancing performance and customization, the rotors are available in either slotted or cross-drilled designs. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles with more track use. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included as standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
