Big Brake Kit

Each caliper is constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, featuring a one-piece design for lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The calipers incorporate aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance and uncompromised operation, along with high-temperature seals and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. The Procomp kits utilize two-piece rotors to provide lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip on the racetrack, while remaining comfortable for normal driving. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stress and prevent warping. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors, which are better suited for track use. SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads are included, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, typically requiring 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. Fitment is specified for models such as the Porsche 996 911 Carrera from 2001-2004.
