Big Brake Kit

This extreme brake upgrade features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to OEM systems, offering a significant increase in braking performance. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 7lbs. It boasts a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons than ProComp calipers and includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on every caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to enhanced durability and performance. The opposed piston design not only improves pad wear but also significantly increases caliper rigidity over factory designs. Stainless steel brake lines are incorporated to prevent expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design is crucial for managing thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing warping of the disc or cupping of the braking surface. For optimal performance, every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment. The SuperComp systems are available with either cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, or slotted rotors, ideal for vehicles that see more track use.
